Education Manager 1

As an Education Manager 1 Foundation College, your key responsibilities include
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including Teacher Performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress
- Coordinate students’ needs including managing student well-being responses and responding to feedback/issues either through delegation
- Design and develop innovative teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of mediums to support varying student learning styles
- Resolve learner complaints in accordance with Chisholm policy to minimise risk, dissatisfaction and issue escalation
- Deliver courses/programs in defined areas of expertise as required, modelling teaching delivery methods meeting changing needs and commercial requirements
- Manage a budget including providing advice on cost-effective delivery strategies
- Manage recruitment, selection, on-boarding and induction of staff

**ABOUT YOU**

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

Qualifications required for the role
- Post Graduate TESOL qualification or extensive industry experience of 5 years or more
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency
- Registration with professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (Desirable)
