Oshc Educator

**Available Position: Educator - OSH (Before and After School Care Program)**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Plan, implement, and manage the Before and After School Care program** in alignment with the service’s policies, frameworks, and the children's individual needs.
- **Provide safe transportation** for school-aged children between the service and the local school using the company vehicle.
- **Support children’s wellbeing and engagement** through the delivery of age-appropriate and engaging activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- **Ensure children’s safety** by adhering to all health and safety guidelines, including regular headcounts, supervision, and risk assessments.
- **Communicate effectively with families, schools, and other educators** to ensure the children’s individual needs are met.
- **Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment** that meets regulatory standards.
- **Document children’s learning and development** in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place Framework.
- **Manage daily routines** including meal times, homework assistance, and free play.
- **Ensure compliance** with all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- **Work collaboratively** with other educators to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
- **Monitor and manage the program’s equipment and resources,** ensuring they are well-maintained and replenished when needed.

**The Successful Applicant Will Require**:

- A **recognised qualification** or **evidence of working towards a Diploma** in Child Services.
- **Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications**.
- A **Working With Children Check** and **Child Protection Certificate**.
- **Two professional referees** (industry-specific).
- **Legal ability to live and work in Australia**.
- A **current Australian Driver's Licence**.

Pay: From $30.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
