**Description**:
About the Role
As a Refrigeration Technician at Cater Care Australia, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing refrigeration systems at our new contract site. This is a BIBO/DIDO position based in Canberra based on 8/6 roster. Working within the CCS Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration equipment to support our facility's daily functions. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with refrigeration equipment, identifying faults, and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime. - Performing repairs, overhauls, and component replacements as necessary to keep refrigeration systems operational
- Collaborating with other maintenance teams to coordinate work schedules and prioritise tasks in line with operational requirements
- Adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements while handling refrigerants and related substances
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels to support efficient workflow management

**Skills and Experiences**:
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Refrigeration Technician with relevant trade qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in commercial refrigeration maintenance and repairs
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) environment
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations and best practices for refrigeration systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex refrigeration issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interaction
- Adherence to strict health and safety guidelines in the workplace
- Valid driver's license and White Card
