**About the role**:
As a Personal Care Worker, you will be an essential part of our integrated team of people united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day.

You will deliver quality resident-centred care at all times attending to the personal needs of residents. This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our residents.

A day in the life as a PCW with Calvary, may see you;
Work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate team spirit
Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence
Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation.
Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the residents plan of care.
Assist the residents with their personal care and hygiene needs whilst encouraging their independence.

About you

As a collaborative compassionate member of the team, you’ll have:
Certificate III in individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and provide holistic care
Demonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience with the aged person and their needs
Demonstrated respect for residents’ privacy, dignity and self esteem
Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
