Melbourne, Australia Aurecon Group Full time

Just imagine your future with us

Aurecon is committed to creating an inclusive culture that embraces diversity and flexibility. We are an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, as awarded by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (Australia), and are a founding member of The Diversity Agenda in New Zealand. We have an Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan and hold Silver Employer status in the Australian Workplace Equality Index for LGBTI+ inclusion.

We are curious about your story and how we can support you to be your best.

Our hybrid flexible approach to working includes flexible start and finish times, working remotely, part time and job share options. Aurecon offers 14 weeks paid parental leave, 20 days paid partner leave, and other health services and benefits.

The Role

Our clients are building new energy, water and transport solutions and infrastructure, modifying or repurposing their assets. It is a complex challenge with many questions to be solved.

Our clients are asking: Is there enough land? Are the approvals and social licence possible? Are we bringing the community and stakeholders on the journey? How do we protect natural resources, biodiversity and agriculture during this transition?

Aurecon is providing the answers to these questions, but we need more help for our clients to succeed. Attracting new talent and developing our existing people is critical for supporting our clients on these major transport project and energy infrastructure transitions.

Opportunities in Approvals and Land access are available in our Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane or Regional teams. The roles are about servicing the energy, water, defence and transport sectors. We would value specialists who can contribute to our integrated service offering of Land Access, Approvals and Social Licence.

Here are some of the key skills and experiences we think will help ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Land access delivery or management
- Landholder, community and stakeholder engagement
- Land access, property or related negotiations
- Valuation, property planning and management
- Legal agreements for land access on Crown or Private land
- Land Access and Planning under statutory requirements such as pipeline, transport, water or other regulations
- Real estate
- Agricultural property or portfolio planning and management
- Integrating land access, community and social licence opportunities with planning and design for large projects

We value the difference each team member brings and we look for people who have had a broad range of experiences and a growth and learning mindset.
