We are on the hunt for a venue manager for a well-established business in Keilor. This role would be perfectly suited to someone who has experience in a similar role and lives in the northwest suburbs of Melbourne We are a function Center in Keilor and host a variety of events ranging from weddings to corporate events. We are open 7 days for viewing with events occurring on weekends and Nights.

Lead and develop a team across the venue including FOH and BOH.
Develop trusting relationships with current and new stakeholders
Proactively build and create business relationships
Drive activities to increase profit margins
Financial reporting including forward planning
Rostering within budgeting parameters
Resilient and determined
Strong focus on customer service, with set KPIs
Capabilities in stock take systems and ordering processes
Manage opening and closing procedures
Manage the operational function of the venue and surroundings
Area Management and oversight including ensuring KPIs and policies are adhered to
Overseeing the smooth operations of events and functions
Conduct training, implement new learning incentives and design training programs suitable.

What do you need?
At least 5 years of experience as an autonomous manager in up-scale fast-paced venues in Melbourne or Nationally
Previous hospitality operations success with a background in the venue management
A passion for hospitality, events and all things food and beverage.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Be Resilient and determined
Be self-motivated Certification
Responsible Service of Alcohol
New Entrant Licensee Certificate
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Other Attributes
Thoroughness and excellent attention to detail
A strong work ethic and willingness to grow within the business
Willingness to work flexible hours
Ability to problem solve and prioritise tasks
Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team
Demonstrated experience in training staff of all levels
Demonstrated experience setting and meeting KPIs
Want to work long-term and progress your career in the business
Demonstrated experience with workforce planning
Schedule:

- One weekday Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Sunday
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Previous experience working at higher-end venues is advantageous

**Salary**: $85,825.95 - $101,661.76 per year
