Machine Operator Blowmoulding

We are looking for our next enthusiastic operator to join our blow moulding team at our Penrith site- Day shift 5am to 1pm, Mon - Fri- Work for a well-known, Australian owned company- Use your problem-solving skills to enhance performance- Greet location and competitive hourly rate
- Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year - receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days a year We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.
- We are looking for a new Machine Operator that will ensure all functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner. This role requires blow moulding basic machine operation and to monitor the quality and output of bottles for supply and packaging in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications. Previous blow moulding experience not necessary but is highly regarded. If you consider yourself mechanically minded and want a career change, this could be the role for you.
- This role works on day shift, Day shift 5am to 1pm, Mon - Fri. Saturday overtime is also available.
- Responsibilities- Safe setup and operation of all blow moulding machines to produce best quality bottles- Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues- Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production related documentation- Work effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime- Collaboration with Cross Functional teams
- About you- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing desirable- Mechanically minded/background in trades with an enthusiasm to work also highly regarded- Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting- Good communication skills and ability to work and collaborate in a team- Basic computer literacy skills- Commitment to teamwork and safe working practices
