Job Details:
Job Summary: Performs both routine and complex maintenance duties associated while following established standards and practices. Provide specialist ICT services within a small maintenance team of simulation specialists. This position works under limited supervision, and liaises regularly with military aircrew.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain the integrity of existing systems as well as provide expert ICT advice on system upgrades
- Develop and update standard operating procedures and bench level instructions
- Interpret network drawings
- Assist in coordinating deployment preparations, including: pod shipping and associated commercial invoices and Shipping Memos, liaise with Customs, pack-up, ICADS terrain and airspace files and Mission Line-ups
- Test Common Modular Pod (CMP) software releases and oversee implementation of CMP firmware updates to the P5 pod fleet. Liaise with Airforce engineers to validate software test and loading.
- Work with engineers to investigate complex issues, component failures and component re-designs.
- Test and implement approved modifications to the IT system.
- Perform maintenance of all computers and associated peripherals as required
- Maintain records of all support and repair activities in accordance with contractual requirements
- Plan and support Live Monitor activities at local and deployed locations.
- Train military aircrew and groundcrew in the system

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:
**Qualifications**:

- Cert IV in Aeroskills or equivalent
- Current Drivers Lice
- Hold an Australian Defence / Industry security clearance (NV1 or higher)
- CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ Certification or equivalent experience
- Other Formal IT related qualifications as well as some technical/maintenance experience or aptitude (a combination of qualifications and experience across both these areas will be well regarded)

Skills/Experience/Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
- Ability to use PC software such as word processors, spread sheets and databases
- Ability to draft and present test reports and publications amendment recommendations.
- Ability to lift 25kgs
