**Role Description/Criteria**

Aquinas College has a part time position available for a VET Hospitality Trainer. Applicants must have the ability to make use of their industry experience in the classroom to deliver quality Hospitality training to our students.

Our VET classes are held during Term time on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30 - 5.30pm with approximately one night per month running a Restaurant Night until 9.30pm (0.22 FTE). This is a 12 month contract position commencing Term 1, 2025.

VCE Teaching experience will be an advantage.

The successful applicant will have:

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110/TAI40116)
- Certificate III in Hospitality (or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work successfully within a team
- A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- A current Victorian Working With Children Check and VIT Permission to Teach
