Elevate your career in residential design working as an architect for one of Australia’s leading diversified property developers. Working closely with one of the Design Architects, you will be provided with the mentoring and coaching to succeed and be part of a team which includes architects, designers and landscapers. The team provides support and architectural design for Business Development (BD) acquisition and delivery for a wide range of projects including residential, apartments and mixed use as well as land lease communities. Based at Stockland’s head office on Castlereagh Street, this is a fantastic permanent opportunity with broad exposure across the design process.

**About the Role**

You’ll be providing architectural design and technical support to assist in the delivery of high density residential projects. With a strategic focus, you will be assisting in design, to deliver outcomes which meet our purpose “We believe there is a better way to live”, elevating our reputation as the leader in residential design, community place making and public domain creation. You will also be involved in:

- Architectural design and drafting support on Business Development (BD) acquisition opportunities
- Developing concept designs for projects
- Architectural design support on active project designs to ensure alignment with project brief and Stockland standard guidelines
- Provide architectural design and drafting support for development of standard Medium Density Townhome and Apartment product templates
- Research and analyse sites context and statutory design requirements to support BD opportunities
- Technical support and team assistance for design programs such as Revit and other design and analysis platforms.

**About You**

You will have graduated with a Master of Architecture degree and have experience in residential design and delivery, preferably on apartments and mixed-use projects. You will also have a solid understanding of sustainability in design. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. You will have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and be able to demonstrate where you applied these skills in a working environment. Intermediate to advanced Revit skills and familiar with Adobe design software including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator and confident creating MS Excel spreadsheets.
