RSL LifeCare is a leading not-for-profit organisation that provides care and support services to veterans and seniors communities in Australia.

We have an opportunity for a Billing and Funding Officer to join us on 12-month fixed term contract within our Finance team, you will arrive as we transition billing systems from iSoft to Health Metrics and a focal point of the 12 months, will be to support the Finance team during this migration period.

The Billing & Funding Officer is responsible for efficient and accurate to billing residents, and government agencies for residential aged care funding, reconciliation of government funding, regular reporting and customer query resolution across RSL LifeCare’s residential aged care facilities.

You will also be involved in:
- Accurate and timely processing of resident accounts and government funding.- Producing monthly invoices and billing statements.- Liaising with resident families in relation to monthly invoices, statements and enquiries.- Providing guidance to Facility administration staff.- Month end reporting and identifying areas for process improvements.- Performing funding reconciliations on payment statement

We need you to have:
- Demonstrable experience of working in Billing and Funding officer capacity.- Exposure to Billing systems, iSoft and Health Metrics would be an advantage.- Aged Care sector experience would be highly regarded, however not essential.- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to understand legislative concepts of aged care funding.
