About the business and the role Established bedroom furniture store in Sydney is seeking reliable, self-motivated, and hardworking warehouse/store assistants.

**Main responsibilities**:

- General warehouse maintenance
- **Fit & strong; be able to move Mattress and heavy furniture on daily basis.**:

- **Loading and unloading trucks.**:

- **Inward and outward handling of goods in a safe and timely manner**:

- Receipt and dispatch of goods within timeframe
- Assist in delivery scheduling
- Answering calls
- Receiving and dispatching goods

**Skills and experience**
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Basic Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office programs (incl. Excel and Word)
- Quick learner on systems
- Assemble the furniture
- General warehouse duties and store maintenance.
- Fit & strong; be able to move heavy furniture when required.

- Strive to always offer the highest level of customer service possible.
- Have a bubbly and can-do attitude.
- Able to multitask and prioritize in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.
- Taking initiative and following through with clients in a timely manner.
- Having a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Have exceptional administration skills and a moderate level of computer literacy with good experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Being extremely organized, energetic, positive, and having the love of home décor and furniture is a bonus
- No experience is required. Training will be provided.
- Must be available to work weekends. (3 weekends a month is required)

**A certificate of Vaccination is required.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
