**The Opportunity**

Veris are looking to strengthen our Administration team's capacity through the appointment of an additional administration professional, to provide reception and high-level administration/project support based in our Hobart office.

The successful applicant will ideally have at least 2-3 year's experience in all facets of administration, preferably within a Survey, engineering, or construction environment.
We are looking for a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, able to prioritise, take ownership of tasks and has a strong sense of urgency; with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. This role will offer you a broad scope of responsibilities and exposure to different areas across the business and stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- General office tasks incl. manning reception, answering telephones
- Office coordination incl. ordering of stationery & PPE, mail/couriers, basic facilities management, survey equipment and vehicle maintenance (Valid driver's licence required)
- Supporting the state manager, survey coordinator and project managers to meet client's needs
- Making travel arrangements and organising meetings
- New Starter general office inductions (facilities, desk, stationery etc)
- Coordinate HSEQ certifications and bookings, manage client portals
- Communicating, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Administration support to other offices across the VIC/TAS Region as required
- Creation of Purchase orders on our CRM system

**About You**

The primary responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

- Excellent communication with clients and service authorities on project milestones
- Experience in preparing and maintaining reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence to assist in meeting project delivery milestones
- Providing advice on jobs to clients and Property team
- Ensuring work is carried out within the client's guidelines
- Providing operational support to the appropriate managers
