The Service
Cabrini Brighton Day Oncology is a 20-chair unit delivering a range of services, including treatments for Oncology/Haematology patients, as well as those with chronic disease, iron deficiency anaemia, and autoimmune conditions.

About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Unit Receptionist to join our supportive team on a permanent part-time basis. This role is 30 hours per week, worked over 5 days (Monday to Friday), with consistent 6-hour shifts from 9:30am to 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and courteous reception services to patients, visitors, and staff- Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care- Manage incoming calls and general enquiries efficiently- Coordinate and book patient appointments, liaising with consulting rooms and patients- Assist patients with queries, escalating to appropriate team members when needed

About You
You are an experienced receptionist who thrives in a healthcare setting and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. You will also bring:
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly)- Recent experience in a unit reception or similar role- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional phone manner- Strong attention to detail and written communication- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities- Initiative and motivation, with a willingness to seek help when needed- Well-developed organisational and multitasking skills- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team- Experience with CHARM and PAS systems (highly desirable)
