Waiting Staff

**Employment Type**: Part-Time/Casual (**Work around 10~24 hours per week**)

**Salary & Benefits**:Base hourly rate + super + bonus

Weekend and public holiday shifts are paid at the applicable **penalty rates**.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Guest Service & Reception**
- Greet and seat customers with a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Present menus, answer customer queries, and make recommendations
- Deliver food and drinks to tables promptly
- Check in with guests and ensure a positive dining experience

**Reservations & Phone Enquiries**
- Answer phone calls politely and professionally
- Manage bookings and reservation changes
- Assist with takeaway orders and customer enquiries
- Record and communicate customer requests or special requirements

**Customer Care & Special Requests**
- Handle dietary needs, allergens, and special occasions
- Assist with birthday cakes, high chairs, pram seating, or large group arrangements
- Respond to complaints or issues promptly and courteously

**Team Support & Coordination**
- Work closely with other FOH staff and support BOH (kitchen) when needed
- Communicate customer requests to kitchen and bar teams
- Assist with table turnover, cleaning, and resetting
- Support floor operations during peak hours

**General Duties**
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene
- Process payments accurately via POS systems
- Uphold restaurant policies on service, safety, and cleanliness
- Assist with opening and closing procedures

**Skills & Qualities We’re Looking For**
- Previous FOH / restaurant service experience (preferred)
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle phone and in-person enquiries professionally
- Excellent interpersonal and time-management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving attitude
- High standard of personal presentation
- Reliable, honest and self-motivated
- Team player with a positive work ethic
- RSA certificate (preferred)
- Must have Australian work rights
- Weekend availability highly regarded (penalty rates apply)
