**Our Family**: - We are a loving family of four based in the Canterbury-Bankstown area, looking for a warm and dependable nanny to assist us during a particularly challenging week. Our two children (aged 4 and 7) are both undergoing ENT surgery on April 24, 2025, and we need extra support in the following days to help manage our household, work commitments, and overall well-being. We have a busy but happy home Our daughter (4) and son (7) are both wonderful in their own ways - our daughter is more reserved and thoughtful, while our son is outgoing and social. We also have four elderly toy poodles (outdoor-only) and a smoke-free home. Both parents run a business with a team of 15, so while we will be present, we need an extra set of hands to ensure everything runs smoothly during the recovery period. **Your Duties**: - Assisting with childcare and emotional support during recovery. Engaging the kids in quiet, comforting activities. Helping with light household duties (e.g., tidying, laundry, simple meal prep). Providing general support to help us manage our business and home life during this time. This role is primarily for the week following the surgery, but there may be opportunities for additional casual work in the future. If you are a caring and reliable individual who enjoys working with children and supporting families during challenging times, we would love to hear from you **Our Perfect Caregiver**: - We need someone who is: - Warm, patient, and nurturing - able to provide comfort and reassurance during this sensitive time. - Flexible and proactive - able to step in where needed, whether it's helping with light household duties, entertaining the kids, or assisting with meal prep. - Comfortable caring for children post-surgery - our kids will likely be a bit clingy, so we need someone who can support us in keeping them comfortable and entertained. While our daughter has Selective Mutism and often gravitates toward people she perceives as having a "grandparent-like" presence, she also forms strong bonds with anyone willing to engage with her in meaningful activities like crafts, reading, or pretend play.
