**Introduction**:
Powertech Resourcing is a multidisciplinary commissioning organisation providing services to the energy and resources sectors throughout Australia.
**Role**: Commissioning Specialist (Electrical/Instro background required)
**Start date**: Mid to Late September 2025
**Roster**: 8/6
**Location**: South Australia - We will cover flights from anywhere in Australia to site
12 hours per day
**Rate**: $1,200/day + super ($100/hr + Super)
Super paid on ALL hours work
**Duration**: At minimum until May 2026
B2B - Back to back role with current Commissioning Specialist
**South Australian residence encouraged to apply, however we are open to Australia wide applicants**
**Key accountabilities include**:
Manage the day-to-day coordination of field technicians and the control system integrator Collaborate closely with Lead Commissioning, key project and operational stakeholders to ensure the successful start-up and ramp up of projects;
Providing technical and commissioning expertise to deliver commissioning planning, as well as safe and effective execution on assigned projects in line with approved project plans;
Ensuring commissioning standards, processes, methodologies and systems are diligently applied on assigned projects
**Commissioning Specialist will possess the following**:
3+ years previous experience in Commissioning, Project Management and/or site operations;
Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trade qualification (electrical);
Electrical and Instrumentation experience required
Advanced technical proficiency across a broad range of engineering disciplines;
Risk and governance in a project management capacity
