**Quick overview of the role**
We are seeking an experienced B Double Driver with a current MC license to join our Transport team based in Currumbin. In this full-time permanent position, you must be able to operate safely and efficiently as well as deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring safe and timely delivery across our servicing region.

**What will you be doing?**
- Conducting pre-start checks on the vehicle and all equipment before use
- Reporting any faults to their manager/representative immediately
- Complete daily run sheets and have all delivery notes signed
- Drive and work in a safe manner at all times
- Complete daily load audits before leaving yard
- Ensuring tidy presentation of vehicle, equipment and personally at all times
- Vehicle is to be kept clean and in a good state of repair
- Ensure all required documentation is correctly compiled in accordance with state regulations
- Thorough knowledge of the regulation and requirements of NSW and QLD Road Rules and adhering to transport legislation/ guidelines and road safety guidelines at all times
- Assist customer requests in placement of load where safe and practicable to do so
- Assist customers in any queries/disputes
- Full clean drivers license
- Current MC license essential
- Current forklift license desirable (not mandatory)
- Current Dogman ticket desirable (not mandatory)
- Flexibility - hours of work are usually between 5am - 5pm, occasional weekend work required
- Good communication skills and high attention to detail
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Proactive nature
- Steel experience highly desirable
- Haib/Crane experience preferable
