Do you have experience with children and a passion for working with children with Developmental Disabilities? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Assistant to join our friendly and driven team. CLIMB Learning is an innovative and busy Early Intervention and Speech Pathology practice based on the Central Coast. We specialise in delivering best practice Intensive Early Intervention services for young children with Developmental Disabilities. We combine evidence based teaching, positive behaviour support and speech pathology to deliver comprehensive programs that help children to shine and reach their full potential.

**The Role**

The Clinic Assistant is a _non - therapeutic role_ and will be responsible for
- Assisting the team in maintaining a clean and tidy clinic space
- Maintenance and Organisation of clinical resources
- Logistically supporting our therapists in their delivery of therapy sessions
- Assisting in daily sign in and sign out procedures
- Ensuring adequate levels of clinic supplies
- Assisting in the opening and closing procedure for the clinic

The successful applicant will have the following capabilities:

- The Ability to work independently**_ - CLIMB learning is a dynamic, fluid environment and as such all staff must be able to be proactive and use their own initiative in fulfilling their professional responsibilities.

- The ability to work collaboratively**_ - At CLIMB learning we work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders and as such the ability to work as part of a team is crucial to being able to successfully fill this role. This incorporates collaborating with management and other staff on the delivery of programs, as well as collaborating with external stakeholders on program delivery.

- Experience working with children**_ - At CLIMB we specialise at working with children with developmental disabilities. As such comfort and experience interacting and working with children is a necessity. The ability to build rapport with children and engage with them in a meaningful way is a core capability of working at CLIMB

- High Level of Professionalism**_ - All of our staff at CLIMB are required to maintain high levels of professionalism in all of their actions whilst adhering to our Code of Ethics. Staff must maintain professionalism in all dealings with clients and staff as part of their role at CLIMB, ensure they are on time and complete all work in the given timelines and to a professional standard

- Highly Developed Interpersonal and Effective Communication Skills**_ - The ability to communicate effectively and develop good working relationships with a diverse range of clients, staff and other internal and external stakeholders is essential. As such all staff must have the skills to be able to effectively communicate with everyone they may come into contact with in the course of their job.

Part-time hours: 15 - 30 per week, 2-4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
