Procurement Specialist

**Qualifications & Attributes**:
The Procurement Information Coordinator will analyse and coordinate procurement data, support supplier engagement, and play a crucial role in ensuring that MESO effectively manages accuracy while complying with procurement standards and documentation requirements. This position is essential for assisting the project management team in coordinating strategic procurement by providing necessary information.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma qualification in procurement, business, supply chain management, or a related discipline with 2-3 years’ experience in a procurement or supply chain role environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with procurement software, databases, and MS Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment**.**

**Duties and Responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Maintain and analyse the “Preferred Supplier” database, tracking supplier performance on quality, delivery, and specifications.
- Assist in assessing suppliers by supporting the evaluation of their performance and ongoing capabilities.
- Provide information and analytics to assist in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and cost-reduction strategies.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, to ensure the procurement pipeline operates smoothly.
- Generate procurement reports and analytics, including spend analysis, vendor performance, and compliance metrics to enhance project management.
- Compile information to assist in implementing corrective actions to ensure adherence to procurement policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Assist the project management team by regularly updating the Project Status report. This includes detailing important milestones, key terms, documenting obligations that need to be fulfilled, and noting upcoming renewal dates for contracts or agreements.
- Facilitate training for internal stakeholders concerning procurement procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in the management of procurement documents, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Facilitate the flow of information between procurement and project teams to ensure materials and services are delivered on time.
- Respond to customer inquiries about procurement while maintaining high service standards.

**Remuneration**

This is a permanent full-time position. Attractive remuneration will be offered, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience, and will be adjusted in line with growth in knowledge, experience, and value to the Company.
