** About the Role**:
As a Carer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience. You’ll provide care, companionship, and emotional support to residents to help support their independence and improve their quality of life and enhance their psychological, spiritual, social, and. physical well-being.
Working collaboratively with our nursing team, the role is responsible for providing a high-quality personal care to our residents, based on their individual needs. This includes assisting them with daily life tasks, personalised care plan and general mobility, delivering safe & high-quality care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards, completing thorough documentation and fostering a collaborative team approach.
**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care.
Previous experience working in Home Care/Aged Care/disability industry is highly desirable.
Passion for enhancing the lives of older people and an understanding the needs of people living with dementia.
Respectful approach that supports people based on their choices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as the confidence to work independently.
Clear verbal and written communication skills,
