A leading global IT organisation is currently looking to hire an experienced Technical Architect who will provide technical architecture advice and support through the life-cycle of projects/contracts. The role is client facing and requires pro-active, engaging, customer delivery focus.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Architect and document deliverables ensuring compliance with Australian Government and Industry Standards.

- Developing architectural models or views which link the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organisation to its IT strategy to demonstrate how the current and future needs of an organisation will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner
- Leads the development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring consistency with agreed requirements.
- Establishes policies, principles and practices for the selection of solution architecture components.
- Manages trade-offs and balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organisation.
- Communicates proposed decisions to stakeholders.
- Coordinates and manages the target architecture across multiple projects or initiatives. Maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to appropriate standards across multiple projects or initiatives

**Key Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience as a Technical / Enterprise Architect.
- Experience in design and implementation of security solutions for **Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)** based solutions.
- Project management knowledge to contribute to project plans and documentation.
- Expertise in identifying and prioritising market and environmental trends and an understanding of the business benefits and risks of alternative strategies.
- Understanding of TOGAF or SABSA enterprise architecture framework
