- About you_- Qualified Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation trade OR degree qualified Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineer with industry experience- Good technical knowledge of rotating equipment and/or PLC systems

Then there’s the great to have’s (but not necessary if you have the right attitude):
- Strong customer focus and customer service skills- Good communication skills with the ability to write clear technical reports- Computer literate (MS Office experience)- Gas Turbine, Power Generation and Gas Compression experience.- Oil and Gas industry experience.- Allen Bradley PLC experience

- What you’ll be doing_

You’ll be the technical focal point at customer sites across the East Coast of Australia, NZ & PNG.

On site, you may be doing anything from troubleshooting to commissioning projects, service and maintenance inspections to equipment removal and installation of Solar Turbines’ range of turbo-machinery products (Gas Turbines, Compressor Sets, Generator sets) considered top notch in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries.

Of course, you’ll also be responsible for:
- Ensuring maintenance services and installation support adheres to relevant specifications and standards- Utilising sound judgment when analysing problems, with little to no supervision to solve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.- Performing preventive/corrective maintenance- Assisting in a technical manner with customer operations and maintenance crews.- Providing detailed and technical reports to various stakeholders- Ensuring customer expectations are always met or exceeded- Complying with Solar Turbines’ and clients’ HSSE policies and procedures.
