**About the team**:
Coles Liquor is a trusted retailer with three iconic trading banners, Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars. Our knowledgeable Team Members serve customers through our network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
Our Supply Chain team within Liquor are looking for an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Implementation Coordinator to join the team on a **12-month contract.**
**About the role**:
Working closely with our eCommerce Implementation Lead, you will engage and educate Coles Liquor suppliers on B2B requirements such as onboarding for Paperless Invoicing, as well as providing them with support and problem resolution. You will also act as a liaison point between suppliers, internal teams (buying, accounting, store operations) and external stakeholders (3PL’s, DC’s, Stores and solution providers).
You’ll also:
- Act as a first point of contact for suppliers, negotiating with them to ensure requirements and deadlines are understood and met
- Complete the accreditation process, incorporating all electronic documents and labelling requirements, according to brand specifications
- Conduct final assessment on suppliers’ capability before electronic trading commences
- Educate teams internally on following the correct business processes
- Liaise with Merchandise team on data integrity issues
**About you and your skills**:
You will have experience in the retail industry, focusing on merchandise and end-to-end supply chain needs.
You’ll also:
- An understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- The ability to negotiate and influence external parties
- An understanding of retail business systems (ERP, Merchandise, WMS) and associated industry practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders
