Mount Martha Preschool is a well-established child focused, community run kindergarten, offering an evidence based sessional kinder program for both 3- and 4-year-olds and is highly regarded within the Mount Martha community. We value a collaborative environment that supports the preschool motto 'where children are seen and heard'. Mount Martha Preschool is a sessional kindergarten, with session and term dates aligning with the Victorian Government school terms and holidays. Wages and conditions reflect VECTEA 2020 46/52 model which pays through the school holidays.

**Description**

**Qualifications**

As the successful applicant you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and confidently assist in the delivery of a high quality and diverse educational program. You will have a working knowledge of the VEYLDF, The National Quality Standards and The Child Safe Standards. Mount Martha Preschool is a shared service so you must recognise the importance of operating efficiently and demonstrate effective time management skills. You will have a commitment to ongoing reflective practice and contribute collaboratively to a professional team and organisational culture. You will attend and actively participate in staff meetings and ongoing paid professional development opportunities as appropriate or as directed by Educational Leader/Nominated Supervisor. You will belong to an organisation with strong values, ethics and commitment to children and their families. In return you will be seen as a valued colleague and will be supported by both professional and knowledgeable staff and an active Committee of Management and the family community. Preferably with a minimum of 12 months experience, you will be passionate about authentic indoor and outdoor play programs and comfortable working with both our children and their families in a warm and trusting manner. A current understanding of NQS and Child Safe Standards is a must. All WWCC, police check,Mandatory Reporting & first aid certificates required.
