Social Media Content Creator

**The Role**

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the key responsibilities are (but not limited to) the following:

- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Updating social media platforms with useful, relevant content
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of our target audiences
- Responding to all messages on social media within 24 hours
- Submit work to editors for input and approval
- Understand the business needs and update the company's social channels accordingly
- Liaise with the marketing team, senior graphic designer, and state manager for projects when required
- Liaise and assist location managers with content creation

- Passion for social media
- A self-starter who takes pride in their work
- Willingness and the ability to hit KPIs

To be eligible for this position you must have:

- 2 years experience in social media marketing and/or content creation
- Creative thinker who is up to date with the latest digital design and marketing trends
- Proven track record of building brands and delivering on business objectives through social media
- Comfortable creating content on camera and behind the camera
- Passion for all things social and staying current with social media trends and best practices
- Able to produce quality work with the ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks accordingly, and meet deadlines

- Content creation: 1 year (preferred)
