Trade Warehouse Trainee

NTHA Trainees & Apprentices together with our host employers specialise in supporting the training and development of our future workforce through apprenticeship & traineeship programs.

We are seeking dedicated and eager Supply Chain Operation Trainees to place with our employers across St Mary’s, Penrith, and the Western Sydney area. We are eager to hear from you if you have an interest in learning about warehousing and logistics while working for a building materials supplier

Positions are available to start immediately or early next year if you are still in school. Our roles do not require university degrees and we encourage anyone looking to get a qualification and full-time work to apply

Through the traineeship you’ll see yourself working with a reputable building materials supplier in a trade centre environment as you work towards a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. They would love to meet with people who are reliable and love to learn (especially about building materials).

**Duties will include**:

- Warehouse duties such as racking and stacking building materials
- Trade desk / internal sales and customer service
- Coordinating deliveries to be ready for pick up / drop off
- Product knowledge about timber and other building materials
- WHS Procedures and Housekeeping

On the job you’ll learn all about the products, pick and pack orders, learn the dispatch process, talk with customers on the sales desk and so much more
