We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Impact Manager to join our Social Impact team. This role will support Lendlease’s Victorian Construction projects.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager Social Impact, your role as the Social Impact Manager will be to improve economic prosperity and inclusion opportunities for priority jobseekers who experience barriers to participation through the delivery of Lendlease’s Skilling and Employment Program.
The role will be responsible for the delivery and reporting of Lendlease’s Skilling and Employment Program in Victoria, drive positive social outcomes for priority jobseekers, support great inclusions and diversity in the construction industry and define industry leadership in the promotion of careers, industry training and labour market participation.
The role will involve day-to-day interface with project leadership teams, other team members, subcontractors and external organisations.
Further, you will
- Plan and deliver innovative workforce programs, in partnership with our lead partner, including job readiness, vocational training and skilling, careers planning, mentoring and industry exposure.- Actively engage, support and mentor the project team and subcontractor base to identify and activate workforce participation and skilling opportunities with a focus on priority cohorts and improved supply chain diversity.- Provide training, support and guidance to Lendlease project team leaders about inclusive employment and advocate for diversity and access of employment across Lendlease’s construction projects- Establish and maintain appropriate systems for the accurate collection and validation of Program participation and outcomes- Support the evaluation of program effectiveness, coordinate continuous improvement and report as required- Access key funding models and programs, including government-subsidised courses and approved training providers- Plan and deliver activities that align with objectives of the Lendlease Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan and promote First Nations participation in the workforce and supply chain
To see success, you will have
- Experience in job service provision and career development of priority jobseekers in a similar role within the construction, rail or civil industry-
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships to influence and negotiate desired outcomes with internal and external stakeholders- Demonstrated commitment and knowledge of priority cohorts, including barriers to employment.- Demonstrable experience dealing at a strategic level with education providers, registered training organisations, skill services organisations- Demonstrated experience in program delivery and project management- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Experience in managing or delivering accredited programs within recognised industry training packages- Experience in collaborating with the project teams to proactively address workforce requirements- Strong data management and administration skills- Experience in liaising with state and federal agencies in relation to accessing funding opportunities related to training- Experience in delivering on the Victorian Government Social Procurement Framework
