We have an opportunity available for a Laboratorial Manager to join our team. You will lead the Quality Control and the R&D Laboratories in all operational tasks, and you will be reporting to the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Manager.

**Responsibilities**:
Quality Control
- Responsible for all QC activities related with Raw Materials, IPCs, Intermediates and Finish product testing
- Responsible to maintain all laboratory log books and documentation in accordance with the best GMP/GLP guidelines
- Always ensure adequate stocks of consumables
- Ensure that all equipment maintenance schedule is adequate and kept up to date
- Perform analytical testing

**R&D**
- Assist Production in the scale-up of formulation processes through pilot plant to full scale manufacture through support of pre-validation and validation batch manufacture
- Determine specifications for raw materials used in the manufacture of new formulations
- Conduct experiments in a safe and responsible manner ensuring company policies and procedures relating to OHS, cGMP and regulatory compliance are always adhered to
- Preparing samples for product stability testing
- Prepare technical reports to support the R&D activities of the company
- Maintain accurate records of experimental work performed in the Formulation R & D laboratory
- Liaise with technical stakeholders within the company ensuring effective and efficient knowledge transfer

**Your Experience**:

- Requires tertiary education in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
- A level of independent work is required, and some resourcefulness is useful for overcoming obstacles due to the scale of the work.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Research environment
- At least 1 year of experience as a QC Analyst
- Good understanding of the Pharmaceutical or Chemical Industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to allow the requirements for the project to be understood and the end results to be clearly communicated to those requiring the guidance.
- Attention to detail and careful journal keeping are necessary for traceability of the work and due to the potentially long-time frames between working on a project.
- Experience training or managing people

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $78,500.00 per year
