**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Assist in medication as prescribed and assist with medical appointments as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and activities.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a valid Yellow Card and Blue Card.
- English must be your first language, as effective communication is essential for this client as she is blind
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the medical or disability field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts ranging from 8-10 hours, with some shifts extending late into the night.

Pay: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
