**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced HR generalist to ensure the maintenance of a suitably skilled workforce qualified to provide safe, effective and person-centred care to our residents. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will partner with senior managers to optimise the leadership of multidisciplinary clinical, support services and administrative teams.

This role will include but not be limited to:

- Ensuring our workforce is properly planned, making sure adequate staff numbers and mix of skills are employed to provide person-centred quality care.
- Working closlely with our Nurse Educator to ensure our workforce is equipped with the right skills, qualifications and training necessary to perform their duties.
- Ensuring our workforce is regularly assessed, monitored and reviewed.
- Providing coaching and support to senior managers to provide leadership to their teams.
- Driving HR systems and processes to support the Aged Care Quality Standards.

Essential to the role is:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management and relevant experience.
- The ability to engage others and foster strong relationships capable of supporting organisational objectives.
- Well-developed communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to liaise, mediate and negotiate at all levels of seniority, within the community, with employer associations and with employee representatives.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of contemporary HR practices, HR strategy development and Industrial and Employment Relations.
- Demonstrated ability in policy development and implementation, with a proven track record of improving organisational performance.
- The ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
- Knoweldge of WHS practices and promoting a safe work environment.
- Self motivation and the ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
- A commitment to a high standard of work.
- A focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in aged care or a helath setting advantageous, but not required.
- Knoweldge of the Aged Care Quality Standards advantageous, but not required.
