Are you an outgoing person who enjoys actively engaging with Seniors (over 65's)? Have you experienced doing these kind of activities? Do you genuinely enjoy making a difference? As a not-for profit organisation our employees enjoy taking home more money in their pay.

We are looking for an **activities person** to conduct activities at our day respite centres located in Brisbane. It will suit someone who is creative, has lots of ideas and genuinely enjoys putting together interesting activities for older people.

This position is part time. It is based at our head office located in the Brisbane CBD with company cars available for travel to respite centres.

To be successful in this position you will be organised and self-motivated with a "can do" attitude and have:

- Experience conducting activities for over 65's
- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (ideally)
- Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Good computer skills including with care databases, Outlook, MS Word and Excel
- An ability to speak another language is highly regarded

You will need to be a permanent Australian resident, have a National Police Check (or willingness to obtain), open Australian Drivers Licence. You are required to be fully vaccinated - COVID19 and Influenza.

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
