**The Opportunity**

The Claims Officer is responsible for timely, accurate and efficient processing, administration, and credit control of accounts receivables.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Process invoices as per scheduled periodic invoicing or as/when required;
- Import, issue, prepare and submit Claims on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis for Participants and Clients;
- Attend to and resolve Customer account queries, clarifications and complaints;
- Review weekly debtors aged trial balance to identify overdue accounts and follow up overdue debtor balances ensuring customers are within their approved credit limits and debtors ageing is controlled;
- Despatch monthly customer statements and send invoices on request.
- Review and complete Month End Tasks as required and assist as/if needed;
- Assist in any other Finance and administration tasks as required.

This is a **permanent, full-time position** where you will be reporting to the Claims Team Leader.

**About You**

We're looking for someone friendly and level-headed with the following attributes:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Understanding of month end process and profit and loss reports
- Sound written and oral communication, analysis and problem solving skills
- Strong customer focus with an ability to liaise with a diverse range of people
- Experience in general ledger reconciliations
