As a Qualified Tradesman you will be expected to be skilled in a variety of landscape installations including, but not limited to, all types of hardscapes, decking, stone cladding, retaining walls, tiling, concreting etc. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to work with others to maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team. This individual will be responsible for managing time and site safety in the field, as well as ensuring all jobs are completed to Lynx Landscaping Standards. This position will report to and coordinate projects with our Foreman.

**PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES**
- Measure work areas and do the leveling before start of projects
- Ensuring productivity with the laborers
- Use skills to develop the team for growth opportunities
- Ability to understand and execute a landscape plan.
- Performs hardscape installations such as pavers, natural stone, retaining walls, etc.
- Evaluate reports or designs to determine work needs.
- Communicate needs to the Foreman to ensure that the job can be done.
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Independent worker with good time management skills
- Experienced in landscaping and physical labour
- Experience in using wet saws and powered tools

- Familiar with sub-base and base preparation/compaction
- Operation of construction equipment

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum (5) years of Landscaping or Construction experience (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience working with teammembers across multiple functional roles (preferred)
- Fluency in English required
- Job training for this position is provided by the company

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing and walking
- Must be able to lift and move up to 20kg regularly
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with work sites.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
