The Projects Development and Building Construction divisions now enjoy the enviable position of selectively targeting prestigious commercial and industrial projects and negotiating contracts with many repeat clients. The Pre-Construction Team has a **primary emphasis on facilitating efficiency and timely gatepost closure and achieving important development milestones **while maintaining and enhancing key client and business relationships. The Team also provides Through-Construction-Support to the Construction Operations Team.

Reporting to the Developments Manager and liaising with the Construction Manager, General Manager and Leadership Team, the Pre-Construction Leader will guide a team in Pre-Construction processes including **management of design development, budget costings and the project approvals coordination proces**s. Your mandate will be to assist in facilitating and streamlining the **design and documentation, engineering, estimating and projects approval through to contracts signing** and hand-over to the construction team. This will include interaction with clients from concept, through design definition to estimating, contract preparation, negotiation and signing.

Tertiary qualifications in Building Design, Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Construction and experience in developing and mentoring design and pre-construction teams as a key technical resource will be your keys to success. You will **ensure total client satisfaction during the pre-construction phase and into and through construction**. Your proven experience in **design management, team leadership, cost planning, estimating and local market knowledge **will set you apart in the industry. Additionally your strategic outlook, initiative and the flexibility to accommodate changing priorities will enhance your suitability and the rewards that follow.
