We are a family owner Frozen Seafood Wholesaler. Reporting to the Manager the successful applicant will be required load and unlock trucks efficiently, manage the inventory processes involved in the inwards and outwards of stock together with the put away all while maintaining bin locations, and general tidiness of the facility. This is a physical position with a lot of stock movement inside the -21 degree Freezer environment.

**Requirements**:

- Working in a freezer environment _**(-21 degrees)**_
- Safely and efficiently operating electric counterbalance or high-reach forklifts (Crown and Toyota brands)
- 80% forklift duties will be required
- 20% of the role will include paperwork
- Palletizing and staging pallets for optimal storage and shipping.
- Load and unload trucks, together with managing con note paperwork as necessary
- Organizing stock and performing put away procedures in designated locations
- Contributing to the overall warehouse operations through general duties
- Understands and undertakes all quality control/assurance procedures HACCP, Primesafe, SQF, MSC
- Managing basic paperwork tasks to maintain accurate inventory control records
- Maintain all QA procedures/paperwork related to the movement of goods within the warehouse
- Responsible for cleaning their work environment
- Loging temperatures
- Checking received stock and raising discrepancies.
- Assemble customers' orders and stack pallets correctly
- Maintaining stock rotation within the freezers.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

- Essential: A valid LF forklift license with a proven track record in counterbalance or high-reach operations
- Must have experience working in a freezer environment **(-21 degrees)**:

- Have your own car and drivers license
- Hard working and 100% reliable
- excellent communication skills.
- Hold a **current** Forklift license
- Experience: Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently in confined spaces, ensuring safety and accuracy

Pay: $23.23 - $37.25 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
