We're searching for a skilled Technical Team Lead to join a Websites Team and help build and maintain the companies global travel branded websites. You'll be leading a team of engineers to deliver top-quality, cutting-edge solutions that will leave our customers ecstatic.

**What You Will Do**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design software architecture and develop solutions for products in the payments space.
- Work with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Guide and mentor a team of engineers, providing coaching and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Estimate solution options and recommend the best approach for addressing challenges.
- Foster collaboration between engineering teams, product managers, and designers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Lead team ceremonies such as elaboration sessions, retrospectives, and stand-ups to keep everyone aligned and informed.
- Promote better development practices, advocating for standards that help teams work more efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with recruitment to attract, hire, and onboard talented engineers who share our values and vision.
- Design and build efficient, testable, and maintainable solutions that solve the problem at hand without overcomplicating things.

**About You**
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, utilizing modern JavaScript coding, testing, and automation techniques to provide complete solutions.
- Proficiency in some of the following tools: TypeScript, React, Styled Components, JSS, Cypress, and Jest.
- Possess a strong passion for software engineering best practices and understand the significance of delivering maintainable and scalable code of high quality.
- Strong team player who works collaboratively without being confrontational and is equally comfortable working independently.
- Possess a growth mindset, and actively seeks out challenges as opportunities to learn, improve and innovate.
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Drupal or Wordpress.
- Experience with building decoupled websites using techniques that involve routing, client-side templating, and integrating JSON-based RESTful APIs.

**Desirable Skills & Experience**
- Proficient in Next.js or Gatsby frameworks
- Knowledgeable in working with AWS services like CloudFront, Lambda, and API Gateway
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools that prioritize a DevOps culture
- Skilled in using observability tools, such as logging (Splunk, Kibana) and monitoring (New Relic)
