Murray Bridge Preschool Kindergarten is a vibrant preschool dedicated to providing high-quality education, engagement and fostering a love for learning in young children. We pride ourselves on our innovative teaching methods and supportive environment for both staff, children, and their families.
Our Kindergarten has a strong commitment to developing the role of children as active participants in their education and the local community. The educator needs to understand that we make connections, recognise strengths, and provide stretch for all children. The role requires highly developed skills in formative assessment and an understanding of phonological awareness through a play-based curriculum.
The Murraylands Region offers a wonderful lifestyle, whatever your interests. On the weekends, the River Murray is a great attraction for fishing, swimming, water sports or just relaxing under a tree. The region has many opportunities to play sports, walk through the National Parks, cafes and pubs. Murray Bridge is just only a 1-hour drive from the city of Adelaide.

What you will do:
The Educator will be responsible for Creating a positive, inviting, and inclusive environment inside and outside that is driven by children's thinking and theories.
The Educator will be collaborating with colleagues and participating in the Kindergarten's and Murray Bridge 2 Portfolio's professional development throughout the year.
This position requires an understanding of Trauma Informed or SMART practices and working with diverse cultures in particular Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander cultures. Curriculum leadership and an understanding of nature play and loose parts pedagogies, would be a positive.
