We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Personal Care Support Worker to provide essential care to a client in Devon Meadows, VIC, assisting with their daily personal care needs.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Personal Care Assistance: Provide hands-on support with the client's activities of daily living (ADLs), including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as required.

2. Medication Support: Assist the client in managing their medications, ensuring adherence to prescribed guidelines.

3. Companionship: Engage in meaningful interactions and activities with the client to enhance their emotional well-being and social experiences.

4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of the care provided and promptly report any changes in the client's condition to the relevant supervisor or care team.

5. Respect and Dignity: Treat the client with utmost respect, dignity, and sensitivity to their individual preferences and cultural background.

6. Safety and Hygiene: Ensure a clean and safe environment for the client, following infection control and hygiene practices.

**Requirements**:
1. Experience in Personal Care: Demonstrated experience in providing personal care assistance, particularly with showering, dressing, and toileting.

2. Female Support Worker: Due to specific client preferences and care requirements, this position is open to female applicants only.

3. Empathy and Compassion: Display genuine care and concern for the well-being of others, with the ability to empathize with the client's needs and emotions.

4. Reliability and Punctuality: Possess a dependable and punctual work ethic to provide consistent and reliable care for the client.

5. Physical Fitness: The role may involve some physical demands; therefore, applicants should be physically fit and capable of assisting with mobility needs.

6. Excellent Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the client and the care team.

7. Patience and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the client's changing needs and handle any unforeseen circumstances with patience and flexibility.

8. Relevant Certifications: Possession of any relevant certifications or qualifications in personal care or disability support will be advantageous.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $36.00 - $80.00 per hour
