**About the role**

BaptistCare at home is currently seeking a full time Team Leader who will be responsible for providing leadership, support and mentoring to our Care Workers. This role covers staff in the Orange & Bathurst region. This role will manage day-to-day operations of the team with a focus on providing the best level of care and satisfaction for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, managing and supporting the Care Workers on a day-to-day basis to ensure a coordinated, consistent and high-quality approach to the service provided
- Undertaking consultation and regular meetings as required with support service specialists such as HR, WHS and RTW consultants to ensure professional delivery of care worker support.
- Facilitating recruitment while ensuring BaptistCare’s policies and procedures are followed.
- Supporting new staff through the orientation, buddy shifts and probationary period, including the development and review of a probationary performance plan.
- Assisting Care Workers to access leave as required by working in collaboration with the Roster Clerks whilst ensuring BaptistCare’s leave policy is followed.

**About you**
- You have a Diploma of Community Services, Human Resources or equivalent qualification, knowledge, and experience.
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff with the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
- Current NSW/ACT drivers licence
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Quality Standards is desirable.
