**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity at Metalcorp in **Toowoomba** as a **Warehouse Supervisor. **This is a business-critical role that will engage across the branch, including customer service, sales, operations and logistics, ensuring variety in a rewarding environment. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be empowered to make decisions and make a difference to your team and customers alike, ensuring job satisfaction and offering a positive contribution to the Toowoomba branch. You will lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve company goals and objectives in a safe and efficient manner. Exceptional customer service will be paramount as you develop collaborative working relationships and champion a strong safety culture. All this is underpinned with an excellent onboarding and job specific training to ensure your success.

This is a Monday to Friday role working a full time 38-hour week across our operational hours from 7am to 5pm.

**What Will You Do?**

Leading our warehouse team members, you will:

- lead and supervise our warehousing operations including picking and packing as well and loading and unloading
- promote a customer focused culture underpinned with processing accuracy and quality
- support and assist your team with daily operations
- identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and safety - striving for on time delivery for our customers
- ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
- grow and mentor your team for their continued development and success

- experience supervising within an operations, warehousing, or logistics environment
- a current forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
- computer literacy and willingness to learn our systems

- an ability to translate business objectives to clear actions and outcomes for your team
