Cliftons in Canberra is seeking well-rounded hospitality stars to join our events delivery team on a casual basis.
**Your general responsibilities will include**:

- Being the first point of contact to greet daily meet and greet with course instructors and delegates
- Assisting with administration requests ie: printing, handling course materials, producing daily reports
- Ensuring the event rooms and client spaces are clean and highly presentable
- Setting up and/or packing down the event rooms
- Maintain client break out area and coffee stations (including stock replenishment)
- Refresh rooms during client break times
- Assisting the in-house Chef with basic food prep as well as general kitchen duties ie: washing, polishing, and clearing dishes from dining area
- Ensure catering is setup correctly as per client requests

**To be successful in the role you will have**:

- Some experience in hospitality, venues, or events management
- Plenty of energy and physical fitness - moving furniture to set up rooms
- Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service ethic
- Strong attention to detail and being able to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to take direction and guidance from managers and other senior staff
- Exceptional personal grooming
- Ability to work variety of shifts including evenings and weekends

These are casual roles and hours are based on a roster. Flexible availability is key as coverage for evening and occasional weekend shifts will be required.
