This role is perfect for someone who wants to lead and manage the successful execution of crucial commonwealth and state government projects whilst maintaining high design intent and technical excellence levels. You will pursue and lead critical Government & PPP projects in this role. Additionally, this role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and securing new project opportunities and the ability to win work and oversee that work in a senior leadership role.

As Principal, focusing on a Government / PPP project portfolio, you will engage in high-level discussions on major Australian projects. Specifically, you will be tasked with developing new and existing relationships while leading landmark developments. You will possess strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain the design intent and user's requirements through the design and delivery stages.

As you will be overseeing a business unit locally, you will be reporting project financial status, including regular calculation of project cost to complete, identification of variation claims, additional project scope and ongoing delivery efficiencies. You will lead, motivate and mentor the project team members providing regular direction and oversight throughout all project stages. As a leader within the organisation, you will facilitate the development and implementation of business strategies and operating plans across the studio in coordination with group leadership and operational leadership.
- 10+ years of local industry experience in Architecture on Government & PPP projects
- An ability to lead complex multidisciplinary bids with the support of a bid specialist
- Strong skills in client management and client development and a documented history of growing/leading a practice
- Manage project teams on assigned projects to deliver projects (time, cost, quality) successfully
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business skills, specifically handling budgets, staff and operational issues
- Strong ability to analyse the sector
- Knowledge of Revit (leadership level)
