Our client supplies revolutionary design and manufacturing processes for advanced UAV systems and is looking to expand its engineering and production teams seeking an experienced **Control Systems Team Lead** **to lead and manage the control systems team for all design, test, integration and commissioning activities and lead R&D development.
**Role**:
- Lead the software, hardware, electronics and control systems team for all systems life cycle activities
- Project management, delivery and tracking
- Liaise with suppliers on product quality and procurement activities
- Develop and deliver progress and control reports, proposals, required documentation and presentations to stakeholders
- Form requirements, specify, design and develop & validate engine control hardware
- Manage training and provide continual support to junior members
- Manage future growth of the team and manage performance and output
**Experience required**:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electronic, Mechatronics or Engine Calibration Engineering;
- Leadership: Previous experience successfully leading a team;
- Preferable experience with aerospace/defence standards for software and system development.
- Ability to manage suppliers, handle multiple priorities, detailed work, reasoning, deadlines;
- Resilient, flexible and analytical with the ability to skilfully negotiate and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
