**Verathon**®** is looking for a Medical Equipment Service Technician to become the newest member of our Operations located in our Sydney, AU office.

The Medical Equipment Service Technician is responsible for provide Technical Support and Services for Verathon Medical Australia to ensure professional and consistent delivery of quality technical services of devices and products. Carry out troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Verathon products in the Verathon Service Workshop, conduct Service Partner training sessions and calibrations in the field in accordance with established company standards and procedures. Provide consistently excellent external and internal customer support.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, calibration, and certification of products in accordance with the company’s quality system
- Follow verbal and written instructions including procedures, Technical Service Manuals, drawings, diagrams, flow charts and pictures in completing a variety of troubleshooting, repair, and assembly tasks
- Perform system level final acceptance tests
- Maintain necessary service and device history records
- Promote and maintain positive customer relations
- Help in other areas of Operations as needed

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required
- 3+ years related experience as Technician or Electronic or Mechanical Assembler
- Ability to speak, read and write proficiently in English
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel
- Proven strong organizational skills and able to work with mínimal to no supervision
- Ability to use basic electronic test equipment, hand tools, and solder irons
- Strong productive work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach repeatedly during shift
- Ability to lift 10 pounds to shoulder height repeatedly, and 25 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
- Consistent on-time attendance is required
