The Opportunity

The Business Information Manager is a key role within Jewish Care operations. The role will oversee all of the administration and day-to-day processing and business-related supports of our Active Living Service (ALS) department. You will assist in the development and management of budgets, forecasting as it pertains to targets on a monthly/quarterly basis, and assisting to ensure targets are reached and variances are identified.

Other aspects of this role may include;
Financial oversight of Aust Aged Care funding such as ‘Commonwealth Home Support Program’ and ‘Home Care Packages’.
Financial Management of Holocaust Survivor Support Program
Developing annual budget, monthly forecasts, variance analysis, assisting with internal and external financial audit, grant acquittal and advising regarding budget management;
Lead and coordinate the business in data collection, cleansing and analysis;
Lead and coordinate the activity, program, funding and financial reporting functions within the business;
Build the skills and capacity of the administration arm of the business to improve overall business support;
Present data analysis in a variety of formats to support robust decision making at all levels of the business.
Working closely with Corporate Finance Team and Chief Financial Officer

As the right person for this role, you will possess;
CA/CPA qualifications in addition to Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business & Commerce
Demonstrated ability to use your data and information management skills;
Developed and refined data analysis and data interpretation skills;
The ability to develop, maintain, and nurture stakeholder relationships in a professional manner.
Prior knowledge of community based aged care funding such as Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and Home Care Packages (HCP) will be advantageous
