SkyPoint is perched on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building and is truly an extraordinary venue, 230 meters in the sky. We are seeking a passionate and driven leader to oversee operations of Guest Services along with the unique and iconic SkyPoint Climb.

**Daily operations include**:

- Ensuring an exceptional level of service and efficiency is always delivered, while maintaining a high standard of product quality and presentation;
- Lead, mentor and coach a variety of roles both front and back of house to foster a passionate team of professionals and inspire future leaders;
- Develop and oversee implementation of sales targets and upsell initiatives;
- Monitor and develop systems and processes to ensure all areas comply with applicable health and safety regulations, legislation and company policies and procedures;
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow and improve our business;
- Working with the Venue Staffing and Scheduler to ensure appropriate staffing levels working within budget
- Recruit and hire new team members;
- Oversee venue preparation and maintenance to ensure the venue looks its best;
- Oversee the wider business operations in the absence of other department heads.

**To be considered, you must be able to **demonstrate**:

- Minimum 3 years leadership experience within a similar high-volume customer service, hospitality or tourism environment and a demonstrated, hands on ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor and develop teams at the front line;
- Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience and experience in instilling and maintaining a positive and professional service culture within a fast-paced, high energy team environment;
- Experience with safety systems including procedure adherence and risk management;
- Previous experience working to wage budgets, while driving sales and performance through sales-based initiatives;
- A proven ability to work across multiple tourism and hospitality disciplines;
- Exemplary communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution skills;
- Display exceptional attention to detail and be a highly organised individual;
- Experience working with POS database systems and competent cash handling/management abilities.

Flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and evening work is involved, as is working at heights, and the ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks.
