Victory Park Health Group is a leading provider of in-home care services dedicated to supporting the elderly population in Melbourne. We are growing rapidly with referrals from many Aged Care Services. We act as an intermediary providing referrals and managing the overall relationship with the Aged Care Services for our clients and therapists.

We are owned and operated by a Physiotherapist who understands the demands of the role and we work as a multidisciplinary team who are passionate professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Myotherapists, and Allied Health Assistants. We strive to keep our clients safe, independent, and living comfortably in their homes, avoiding the need for residential aged care facilities.
- **Job Description**_:_
- Carry out comprehensive foot assessments for elderly residents, including those with chronic conditions such as diabetes and arthritis.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and clients needs.
- Provide routine foot care services such as nail trimming, callus debridement, and padding.
- Educate residents, family members, and caregivers on proper foot care techniques and preventative measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when required

Integral to our way of working is flexibility, support and allowing therapists to build their experience. As such this is a mobile role and you can choose the areas in Melbourne you would be prepared to work, the hours and days you work (including weekends and after hours if it suits the client's preferences) and will schedule client appointments according to mutual availability, choosing the number of clients you work with.
- **Requirements**:_
- Degree qualification in Podiatry with AHPRA registration
- 1 year experience
- Full australian driver's license and transport
- Ability to work autonomously and perform assessments in clients' homes
- ABN and insurance
- **Compensation and Benefits**:_
- Competitive pay: you will be paid $130 per client for the initial appointment.
- Follow up appointments will be paid at $80 per session.
- Autonomy: manage your own schedule and diary to accommodate your calendar.
- Bi-weekly payment as a contractor.
- Work from home.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Develop personalised support, education and intervention plans, providing education to clients and their families/carers.
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and psychological capabilities through clinical observations and standardised testing.
- With the support of the Practice Manager team coordinate treatment with other healthcare professionals to optimise outcomes.
- Evaluate the need for interdisciplinary referrals

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

**Salary**: $130.00 - $200.00 per hour
