Optical Reception Assistant
Mentone Optical Service

Mentone Optical Service prides itself on our quality care and service and has
served the Mentone community for over 60 years. We are located in the heart of
Mentone close to the train station as well as to Woolworths.
We are open 6 days a week. Monday-Wednesday 9am
- 5.30pm, Thursday 9am
- 7pm, Friday 9am-5.30pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.

About the Role
to work on a Part Time basis with a minimum of 28? hours per week. If you love

Job Tasks will include:

- General reception duties for the practice
- Managing patient appointments, face to face and over-the-phone bookings
and queries
- Processing daily patient accounts, payments and daily banking
- Liasing with Optometrist and Optical Dispensers
- Other administrative duties as required by the manager

Your Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist desirable
- Ability to work independently or with a Team
- Reliable and Punctual
- Be able to balance competing priorities and tasks
- A passion for customer service and organisational skills

All staff members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 28 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Fixed shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mentone, VIC 3194: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
