**Your new role**:
As a Senior Systems Analysts you will be responsible for providing support to users of the primary 3D modelling and 2D drawing software. You will also be responsible for configuring the CAD system to support the business requirements, development and documentation of processes and procedures and work closely with Business Analysts to develop solutions.

**More specifically you will**:

- Providing support to users of the primary 3D modelling and 2D drawing software
- Configuration of the CAD system to support the business requirements
- Develop and document processes and procedures in conjunction with the end users to maximise the benefit from the Engineering tools
- Script development.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to develop solutions
- Interaction with Projects personnel for modelling requirements definition.
- Creation of training course materials and training delivery.
- Assist with the definition of CAD software enhancement requirement.
- User Access management.
- Assess new versions of the Engineering software from the supplier for benefits to the business. Provide input to decision on whether to adopt new versions of the software.
- Creation and execution of test plans for new software versions
- Liaise with the UK based teams who support the Engineering tools to receive and provide input on the management and configuration of the software.
- The IM&T and the wider HCFP team will be operating as ‘One Team' across multiple sites and time zones. Due to this it will be expected that the team members will adopt a ‘Smart Working' approach by being flexible in their start and finish times to maintain a work life balance. Frequent early morning (UK & Spain) meetings and evening (AU) meetings will be required to ensure we are aligned.

About you

**As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Good problem solving skills to identify root cause of issues and develop resolution to software issues Raising issues with Vendors
- Experience in using/supporting 3D CAD systems on large Engineering projects
- Understanding of Detailed Design process
- Working from an IM&T help desk system, familiar with the ITIL framework
- Worked within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in the JavaScript (ECMAS Script) would be a benefit

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
